Alexis began her fitness journey in High School where she played competitive volleyball and ran track. After having her second child and needing to get back in shape, she started running recreationally and eventually worked her way up to running the NYC Marathon. She believes most people are capable of more than they think when it comes to strength and fitness, and with the right tools and motivation they can achieve their full potential. She holds her Personal Training certification from NASM as well as spinning certifications from both Mad Dogg Athletics and Real Ryders.
Alexis has created her own variations of spin, bootcamp and HIIT (high intensity interval training) classes with focus on functional training. She works with clients from all different fitness backgrounds and ability levels and specializes in creating fitness programs aimed at helping clients reach their specific goals and maximizing their capabilities in health and fitness.
